After qualifying as a Sport Massage therapist in 2019, I soon realised the importance of using a variety of modalities and treatments to enhance performance, support recovery, and maximise health & well-being.

 

I have spent the last several years researching, learning, and developing complimentary therapies to support high performance individuals achieve their goals and make speedier recoveries. My goal is to enable you to achieve yours.  

 

Today I am qualified in six aligned modalities, all of which are focused on enhancing optimal output. The latest being PEMF technology; the non-invasive therapy that is changing the game in peak performance.

Gabriel Wenner

Director and Head of Marketing

Gabriel Wenner has a varied multiskilled background that features a 2:1 university degree, 3 years experience in business management of a property company, 10 years in music marketing and most importantly his role in the film industry.

 

After attending Futureworks School of creative arts in Manchester and gaining 7 years experience as a video production manager featuring work on promotional campaigns for TV, adverts and content for the corporate sector and social media content for businesses both videography and photography he has arrived at his current role of director and head of marketing at Pro Active where his work is focused largely on branding, business development and crafting the face of the company.

Dr John Morgan

Dr John Morgan

Dr John Morgan is an internationally renowned and highly distinguished GP and Sports Medic whose expertise lies in human performance. He successfully completed his MBChB in 1998 at Sheffield University.

 

He became a GP in 2003 and was notably awarded Fellowship of The Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine in 2017.

​

He has expertise in elite sports medicine, weight loss medicine, and the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal injury and pain.

​

In 1999 he was appointed club doctor of Orrell RUFC in Championship Rugby Union in a successful tenure which saw both promotion, and victory in the Powergen Shield Final at Twickenham in 2003.

​

This commenced what would become a highly successful career in sports medicine. He progressed to become club doctor of Warrington Wolves RLFC (2006-2011,) Widnes Vikings RLFC (2011-2016) and Leigh Leopards (2016-2020.)

 

In 2009, he became the doctor for Lancashire County Rugby Union and in 2011, the doctor for the Ireland National Rugby League Team. His greatest achievement was as National Team Physician to the Australia Rugby League team, winning the World Cup in 2022, finding it an absolute privilege and honour to represent a nation together with a group of outstanding individuals.

 

Within his career, he has been privileged to look after Olympic, World, Commonwealth, and European athletes and medallists together with boxers and UFC fighters from around the globe.

​

Raising the profile of physical activity for the prevention, treatment and management of long-term conditions, his work around models of exercise on prescription for public health have received national recognition with articles written about him in The Daily Telegraph, Health Club Journal, and Walk Magazine.

​

Dr Morgan sets standards as a committee member of the British Association of Sport Rehabilitation and Trainers and as Clinical Advisor to Freehab.

​

As a renowned and highly sought sports medic, with more than 25 years of experience, Dr Morgan believes in the value of diet and physical activity for the prevention and rehabilitation of conditions, and he works in partnership with his patients to optimize their individual health. He is deeply interested in researching and implementing various revolutionary non-surgical treatments for the optimization of health and advocates for PEMF technology and is an integral part of the ProActive Manchester multidisciplinary team.

Jo Booth

PR and Business Development

Jo Booth brings over a decade of expertise in marketing, communications and business strategy to her role at Pro Active. As Head of PR and Business Development, Jo focuses on building strong partnerships, growing brand awareness and championing the incredible results PEMF therapy can deliver.

​

With a background spanning health, TV, wellness, agriculture and digital strategy, Jo has worked with a wide range of clients, including national broadcasters, cancer clinics, councils, independent businesses and charities. 

​

Jo’s connection to Pro Active is deeply personal. After losing her husband Chris to a brain tumour, she witnessed first-hand the benefits of PEMF therapy in improving his quality of life. Inspired by the clinic’s mission and driven by a desire to help others access affordable, non-invasive recovery treatments, Jo became a core part of the Pro Active team.

At Pro Active, Jo oversees communications, leads business development efforts and supports the clinic’s vision of bringing PEMF therapy to more people. Whether supporting elite athletes or individuals managing pain, injury or long-term health conditions, Jo is passionate about helping others feel better and live well. Her strategic mindset, personal connection and community focus play a key role in Pro Active’s continued growth and impact.
