If you are new to PEMF then it is strongly advised that you book a bundle of at least three sessions to give yourself the best chance of the result you are looking for. PEMF is generally a cumulative process and so single sessions for first timers is not advised. What Is Pulsed Electromagnetic Field - The idea is simple, yet its implications are vast: By harnessing electromagnetic fields, we're talking about a non-invasive and non-pharmaceutical, we're about to way to enhance the body's innate healing and performance-boosting powers.

For those new to PEMF Pulsed Electromagnetic field therapy (or PEMF for short) is a non-invasive way of using magnetic fields to stimulate the body’s natural processes into an enhanced state of wellbeing, productivity and recovery. By using one of our PEMF device applicators such as the bed, chair or local accessory we apply the magnetic fields directly to the body as a whole or to a troubled area to promote rapid recovery from injury, boosted energy, mental clarity, natural pain management, stronger bones, muscle growth and much more…

Who can benefit from PEMF?

The short answer to this is that everyone can benefit from PEMF as it boosts your body to do anything and everything that it needs to in a natural way whether its boosted athletic performance, mental or immune system related ailments. However some common reasons clients come to us for PEMF are physical injury, enhanced performance, Parkinson's, Urinary Incontinence, and much more... What happens in a session?

As the client you will have a short consultation with one of our therapists to establish what it is you want to achieve and if you have any relevant problems to address or just want a boost in performance. From this the applicator will be chosen such as the bed, chair or local accessory and the session will begin with you set up on the relevant PEMF kit. The magnetic field will start small and will be increased gradually by Vanessa to a point where you will feel your muscles twitch with the pulses. The intensity will be varied depending on your experience and comfort for the duration of the session..

 

What is PEMF?:

PEMF is popular among athletes, high performers and those looking for less convention ways to address certain issues. It is FDA approved to heal nonunion fractures, promote bone growth, help with urinary incontinence & muscle stimulation, cervical fusion surgery patients at high risk for non-fusion and for pain where other conventional means have failed. But on top of this is can have the ability to stimulate your body’s natural processes into much much more. Because of it’s 40+ years of study and use it has been recognised by many to have the potential to help the body in so many ways beyond. By working on a cellular level PEMF is used to promote the production of ATP through optimisation of the cell’s every day functions in the body which can open the door to achieving peak performance and recovery from injury in extraordinary ways.

 

Can I book one single session?

Because of the nature of what PEMF is it is generally not an overnight therapy and takes multiple sessions to see proper benefits. We do often see people already experiencing positive effects after a single session but the cumulative effect built up over a set of sessions is where the real potential for it’s amazing effects lie. We work on the simple rule of the more the better! Therefore we strongly advise that if you are a first timer for PEMF that you have a minimum of 3 sessions.
